What brings out the best in me? What does my potential best self actually look like and how often do I operate out of this mode? How on earth does this best self mode disappear so quickly sometimes and do I find myself operate out of this non-productive (shadow) mode?
We structure our development around our core strength and overtime this comes to define us. When we leverage our strengths appropriately and can take distance from them we operate out of "Best Self" but when we overplay these strengths and rely on them to give us a sense of safety, security and self-worth we move in "Shadow". This is where we loose flexibility and start to limit ourselves and our growth in important ways.
